Face Scrubbie

I was looking around for a scrubbie pattern and wasn’t feeling the ones I found online, so I decided to make my own! I hope you enjoy making these!

Things you’ll need:

35 yards of cotton worsted weight yarn. I used Peaches and Cream

US - 5.0mm hook (H)

Scissors

Yarn Needle


Stitches and techniques to know:

ch - Chain

dc - Double Crochet

sl st - Slip Stitch

hdc - Half Double Crochet. Short video here

fpdc - Front Post Double Crochet

bpdc - Back Post Double Crochet

In the third loop - Work into the back third loop of a hdc. Short video here


  • Start with a magic circle

  • Row 1: Ch 2. dc 10 times into circle. Join to the first stitch with sl st

  • Row 2: Ch 2. Fpdc around first stitch, dc into top of the same stitch. Repeat to end. Join to the first stitch with sl st

  • Row 3: Ch 2. *hdc 1x in first stitch, hdc 2x in next stitch* Repeat from * around. Join to the first stitch with sl st

  • Row 4: Ch 2. *dc 1x in the third loop in the first two stitches, dc 2x in the third loop in the next stitch* Repeat from * around. Join to the first stitch with a sl st

  • Row 5: Ch 2. *fpdc 1x around the first three stitches, bpdc 2x in the next stitch* Repeat from * around. Join to the first stitch with a sl st

  • Row 6: Ch 2. *hdc 1x in the first four stitches, hdc 2x in the next stitch* Repeat from * around. Join to the first stitch with a sl st


Finish off and weave in your ends.
